much much better even if newcastle did look pretty toothless. just have to hope that RVP isn't badly injured: he took his two goals well and denilson did better (but still had his bad moments) and deserved his as well. we have the best two full backs in the league, nasri is a great signing, fabregas makes us tick and even eboue had a good game.
it was 2-0 at halftime but should have been more. how we only got the one penalty only rob styles knows. as for nicky butt - he is a dirty bastard and should have been booked, instead nasri and fab see cards! comedy moments: big fat ashley ('king kev" on his back) leaving the stands early and barton being booed for nearly every minute of his brief appearance. in the end it was a very easy win, just what we needed after fulham and now i can relax and listen to the chavs play the spuds tomorrow (that's a win-win situation for me)
as for cambridge, silly sods threw away a 2-0 lead against weymouth's ten men, still joint top though since salisbury lost
update, the table looks better now... check out who's bottom
