forget early spring with its first daffodils, crocii, cuckoos or whatever ive just walked across campus and seen a female student wearing flipflops.. surely means that sunglasses and factor 27 are just around the the corner?
No. They have been walking round all winter with a strip of pale blue midriff showing. It's just fashion...

Nope, they are fweezing, but they don't care because fashion is vewy important. Sorry about the apparent speech defect, I have got my moustache caught in my teeth.

Argh, students and flip flops in winter! On monday I saw a group guys and gals all in their standard sports hoody with nickname, hats, gloves and scarves...wearing either cut off trousers and flip flops, or a miniskirt with tights and sandals. Oh, and two guys were drinking milk from a carton. I felt like fruitlessly screaming at them about self-identity and practical clothing for at least half an hour.

yeah one of my students always wears long shorts whatever the weather.. but he's a rugby player if that makes sense? miniskirts and tights is a good look though and at least the tights presumably keep's one warm?

Last time I was in Edinburgh in January I saw a young woman at a cash dispenser at 3pm in the afternoon with bare shoulders, bare midriff and a mini skirt and bare legs. Winter nudiness seems to be the current trend. They are clearly all mad.

Yep, know them well - but at an older age. I work with Americans and for some incomprehensible reason they pull out short skirts or pants and short sleeves when the sun is out, even if the temperatures are below freezing and we locals all run around in winter clothes.
It's not just the young who are foolish...
